Pregnancy is a time of big changes. This information is general; always follow the advice of your midwife, obstetrician or GP.
Movement
- For many pregnant women without complications, regular moderate activity is good, such as walking, swimming and adapted strength training.
- Avoid activities with a risk of falling or blows to the belly, and very hard exertion in heat.
- Stop and contact your midwife if you have bleeding, fluid loss, dizziness, chest pain, shortness of breath before exercise or regular painful contractions.
Nutrition
- Eating a varied diet matters more than 'eating for two'.
- Special advice applies, for example on folic acid, vitamin D, alcohol and certain foods. Your midwife will discuss these with you.

If your life stage is set to 'pregnant', the app shows no period forecast and no fasting. Sauna and cold sessions are discouraged in this stage.
