You have reached menopause when you have not had a period for twelve months. The time after that is called postmenopause.
What changes?
- Symptoms like hot flushes can continue for a while after menopause and gradually ease for many women.
- With lower oestrogen, bone density and muscle mass decline more easily. Strength training, enough protein, calcium and vitamin D are therefore extra valuable.
- Vaginal dryness and bladder complaints are also common. Good help is available through your GP.
Bleeding after menopause

With the life stage 'menopause' or 'postmenopause', the app shows no period forecast. You can still track symptoms, sleep and recovery and match your training to how you feel.
